Jack Wayne Meaders is the son of Caulder and Bertha Hamilton Meaders. Though Caulder didn't turn pottery, Jack did. Like his cousins, Jack took up the business after he retired. He married Jessie Stover in 1949, and had two children, Terry Jo and Jeff.

Jack and Jessie worked in the shop together for many years. Their partnership created many beautiful pieces. Jack would turn; Jessie would decorate the pieces. They worked in this manner until Jack passed away from Cancer in 1993. He is buried at Mossy Creek.

Their son Jeff turns some now in his parent's shop, just across the creek from the old home place.
